On January 4, 1986, the Howard L. Cornish Metropolitan Baltimore Chapter hosted its first Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast at The Forum Caterers in Baltimore. Because of the commitment of the chapter members and their desire to support our Alma Mater, we put forth a great effort each year to make this signature event a notable success.

In the thirty-one years since the first Dr. King Scholarship Breakfast, the chapter has awarded approximately $750,000 in scholarships to over 400 deserving Morgan students.  In addition, we have awarded more than 250 laptop computers to Morgan students.
